While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote after a period of demonstrated proficiency in the role. **What** **does a Senior Contracting Specialist** **do** **for** **us****?** They work independently, under minimal guidance, and lead stakeholders in the development of internal customer materials and service contracts of significant risk and/or complexity. They lead competitive bidding processes, negotiate, and prepare contract documents. They meet business unit cost objectives with focus on best value to Idaho Power. Along with supporting Idaho Power’s traditional contracting activities, this position also involves responding to internal customer needs by independently interpreting contractual requirements, providing guidance on contract terms, and ensuring ongoing compliance throughout the full contract lifecycle.
