Must Have
minimum 5 years of experience working in audit, risk or governance environment with extensive knowledge and experience working with business or technology controls, within the finance industry

Developing and refining the control compliance framework
including processes and methodologies to support ongoing compliance
Mapping controls to relevant regulatory requirements and CIBC standards to ensure comprehensive coverage and alignment
Evaluating controls appropriateness and efficiencies
and identifying areas for improvement
Supporting controls effectiveness and compliance in integration with control lifecycle management
Communicating and collaborating with teams and stakeholders across various regions to drive controls enhancement initiatives
Reporting on control-based compliance progress and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders
