What You'll Achieve.
Execute technical accounting and/or capital markets work at high quality for clients.
Industry & Context.
Solving client issues related to accounting and financial reporting rules.; Identify potential issues or challenges.
Office location is Amsterdam, but also a fully equipped home office and a monthly net expense allowance for internet and other costs.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 to 4 years of working experience in applying IFRS, Dutch GAAP and/or US GAAP and related financial reporting concepts and rules such as financial instruments, leasing, consolidation, GAAP conversions, fair value assessments, revenue recognition, structuring, and/or business combination regulations to solving client issues., Substantial experience in at least two of the following: financial instruments, leasing, consolidation, GAAP conversions, fair value assessments, revenue recognition, structuring, and/or business combination regulations.
Nice to Have
Experience or an interest in financial instruments, An interest in capital market topics including IPOs, SPAC mergers, carve-outs and spin-offs, private placements, and/or debt, An interest in applying technology and tooling in your day-to-day, Proficiency in the Dutch language is a plus
What You'll Do.
Proactively execute technical accounting and/or capital markets work at high quality for clients.
delegate and lead consultants.
Report to Managers and Senior Managers and other professionals.
Identify and meet client needs.
Drive client meetings.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Support the engagement manager in all aspects of the engagement.
Prepare/assist with the preparation of complex written materials and oral presentations.
Work almost independently for non-complex topics while receiving guidance in more complex situations.
Identify potential issues or challenges and communicate status with the (Senior) Manager or engagement lead.
Assist more experienced team members with assessments of accounting and reporting requirements related to capital markets transactions.

Communication Scope
Communicating the impact of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements on complex deals and transactions.; Fluent in English (both written and spoken).; Proficiency in the Dutch language is a plus (both written and spoken).
