S. as a refugee or granted asylum, Blue’s Standard Background Check, Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation, Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10, 001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training., Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or suitable experience with similar project scope and scale, 10+ years of experience in construction supervision, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification, Demonstrated experience supervising construction of complex concrete structures and mechanical systems, Experience managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously, Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices, Ability to read and interpret complex construction documents and engineering drawings, Ability to work in various weather conditions, Capable of walking, climbing, and navigating active construction sites, May require lifting up to 25 pounds, Must be willing to travel to launch sites as needed, May require extended hours during critical construction phases, May require participation in shift operations

Nice to Have

Prior experience in aerospace, power generation, or similar industrial facilities, Lead construction superintendent on projects of similar scope and scale, Experience with launch pad, test stand, or similar specialized infrastructure construction, Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and requirements, Experience in remote or logistically challenging construction environments, Understanding of cryogenic systems, high-pressure piping, or specialized aerospace infrastructure, problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. The Senior Construction Superintendent will lead daily construction operations for Blue Origin's launch pad facility and future launch infrastructure upgrades.
