What They're Looking For.
Must Have
University degree in law, economics, finance, engineering, business administration or a comparable field, Basic commodity/energy trading knowledge, e.g. understanding of markets, products and general business processes, Experience with relevant Regulations (MiFID, REMIT, MAR, EMIR etc. ) and good understanding of ESG topics, Hands-on experience with GDPR in operational compliance settings, including balancing regulatory requirements with data protection principles in KYC, investigations and monitoring activities, command of Swedish and English, both verbal and written, analytical and problem solving skills, Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks end-to-end, Fast learner and early adopter of new business and technological developments, Ability to challenge status quo in a constructive and pragmatic manner, Effective ability to influence, drive change and resolve conflicts in a complex stakeholder environment
Nice to Have
Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Python, C++), substantiated by completed projects or practical applications, Working experience with algorithmic trading (e.g. trading, developing, monitoring, auditing or related oversight activities), Experience with trade surveillance systems such as Nasdaq SMARTS, SCILA or similar solutions
