What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years of experience across Public Relations, Communications, and Media Relations, Proven track record of securing tier-one media coverage in cybersecurity, enterprise technology, or SaaS, understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and threat ecosystem, Demonstrated ability to simplify complex technical topics into clear, compelling narratives under pressure, Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a bias toward action and outcomes, Established media network with existing relationships across cybersecurity and enterprise tech press, Experience managing PR agency relationships with accountability to measurable performance outcomes, Background supporting executive media programs, including briefing prep, interview coaching, or thought leadership development, Ability to work hours overlapping with ET hours, Must be eligible to work in the region of hire without sponsorship from an employer now and/or in the future

What You'll Do.

Build and maintain relationships with tier-one journalists

and media outlets to proactively secure high-impact coverage across cybersecurity

Identify and act on newsjacking opportunities to translate technical capabilities and threat intelligence into compelling

media-ready narratives that differentiate DNSFilter in the market

Serve as a first responder to breaking news

and incidents in order to establish DNSFilter as a trusted authority through timely commentary and positioning

Partner with senior leadership to prepare for media engagements

drafting talking points

and reactive statements that build executive visibility and credibility

Work closely with PR agencies to drive output

tracking media performance

and impact metrics to continuously optimize strategy

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product
