Colo Physical Security Engineers [Architects] at AWS work with our Colocation Vendor partners to design safe, secure, resilient, cost-effective Data Center (DC) facilities. As a Colo Physical Security Engineer [Architect], you will lead security designs for Colocation DCs throughout our Americas Region and impact AWS global colo data center security standards. You will be part of a highly creative and efficient design team comprised of Architects, Engineers, and Designers tasked with solving problems and challenging the status quo. As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical guidance, have a direct impact on the design of Colo data center facilities, solve large-scale implementation issues, and be responsible for developing and communicating security design requirements to internal and external project partners. As a Colo Physical Security Engineer [Architect], you will work directly with other AWS Security Teams, AWS Management, and Colo Vendor partners to collaborate in the real-world application of Physical Security throughout AWS.
