What They're Looking For.
Must Have
at least 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles creating resilient, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure that connects business objectives, consumer requirements, and technical capabilities, at least 5 years of AWS-centric cloud engineering experience, including development tools, configuration and secret management, CI/CD, IaC, compute, serverless, clustering and load balancing, storage and databases, observability, monitoring, and alerting, experience building self-service platforms and automation to reduce cognitive load and drive innovation, built automation and tooling for cost accounting and analysis, experience with application security engineering and DevSecOps, experience with AI infrastructure and context engineering, demonstrated expertise with PHP, JavaScript, Python, and SQL, diligent with your documentation, testing, and time management, possess a work ethic and sense of accountability, enthusiasm to contribute to Stand Together's vision and principled approach to solving problems, and a commitment to stewarding our culture, which champions values including transformation and innovation, entrepreneurialism, humility, and respect

What You'll Do.
Lead the technical strategy and execution of our cloud infrastructure
build self-service platforms that meet the development and operational needs of application teams

Lead the collaborative design and implementation of self-service platforms encompassing development

Work with application teams to help them build operational expertise and develop self-sufficiency

## Description Stand Together is a philanthropic community that helps America’s boldest changemakers tackle the root causes of our country’s biggest problems, from education to the economy, broken communities, and toxic division, among dozens of other pressing issues. We provide our partners with access to resources including funding, thought leadership, a network of peers, and a playbook for applying proven principles to transform lives and society. Stand Together is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the technical strategy and execution of our cloud infrastructure. You will build self-service platforms that meet the development and operational needs of application teams and drive DevOps adoption throughout the community. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, expertise in cloud application development and operations, and the ability to translate broad objectives into actionable plans. If you're passionate about cloud engineering, DevOps, and working collaboratively, we want to hear from you!
