Must Have
5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, BS or advanced degree in computer science or other related field, Extensive experience working in containerized Cloud Native environments, Experience using modern monitoring tools, Experience managing change management practices, Experience deploying and monitoring applications in AWS at scale, Security first mindset, Experience building and maintaining a container based infrastructure, Experience with infrastructure automation, Experience with FinOps practices, Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines, scripting skills in Python, Shell
Nice to Have
Terraform experience a plus, Experience working and architecting for regulated environments with data privacy regulations like GDPR, HIPAA preferred, Kubernetes/EKS experience

Job Summary: We are looking for an Sr. Cloud Engineer who has hands-on experience building and managing a cloud-based infrastructure. Additionally, this engineer will be responsible for development cycles in integration/continuous deployment mode, process monitoring, and more broadly, constructing a “safety culture” within the SmithRx’s DevSecOps practice.
