6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps roles, Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments (AWS, Azure), experience with containerized environments, Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar), Demonstrated experience building and maintaining high-performance data processing systems, Experience operating a high-security and/or highly regulated cloud environment, Knowledge of Event-Driven or Asynchronous architectural patterns, Experience implementing identity, and access management (IAM) concepts for cross-functional teams, Experience implementing Zero-Trust concepts, understanding of cloud networking, Experience working with distributed systems and cloud-native architectures, Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems

540 is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to support our partnership with Google and the Department of War in advancing mission-critical capabilities for a global data processing platform. This platform leverages Machine Learning, modern cloud and containerized technologies to ingest, process, and analyze high-volume, time-series data. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services that enable near real-time data processing and mission insight. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and mission stakeholders to implement scalable, resilient, and secure systems within highly regulated, high-impact environments. Location: Patrick SFB, FL (Patrick Space Force Base). Primarily onsite, up to 5 days/week Citizenship & Clearance Requirement: Per client requirements, candidates must be U. S.
