What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training, 5-7 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies, Very good knowledge of software-, cloud- and container-architectures, Deep experience in infrastructure automation, In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools and network related services, customer orientation, Knowledge of agile development processes, Mentoring and presentation skills, Ability to assess technical solutions and to come up with creative approaches, Fluency in written and spoken English, You will be working in the European Union to meet our clients' data security and privacy requirements.
Nice to Have
OpenStack and programming experience in OpenSource projects are a plus
What You'll Do.
operation and further development of OpenStack-based services on the T Cloud Public Platform in the network area
Plan and drive automation using common automation frameworks
Further develop the physical and virtual network architecture
taking IT security aspects into account
Work together with specialists from our team and other Deutsche Telekom teams on the technology topics of public cloud
Prepare materials for presentations
Advise management on technology decisions
Improve the platform architecture while taking IT security seriously
Design and develop innovative platform and software-as-a-service features
Hands-on work on a console to back architectural work
Consistently automate with common automation frameworks

Work together with specialists from our team and other Deutsche Telekom teams; Working in an agile based squad; Supporting other colleagues is part of the journey; Working in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner
