What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum concentration accounting, finance or business, 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Nice to Have
Agency or Professional Services experience a plus, Month end close experience, Revenue Recognition experience, Project Accounting experience, Client Services/Client Facing experience
What You'll Do.
Support monthly project accounting efforts
Prepare and lead monthly status meetings
Manage project updates across financial trackers
Review and reconcile new projects
Follow up with project leads on discrepancies
Review and reconcile change orders
Set up new clients in accounting systems
Review intercompany revenue/cost transactions
Assist with Interco contract execution
Review cost allocations compared to budget
Assist with revenue recognition
Prepare monthly project revenue forecast
Review and investigate hours and expenses
Prepare and review approved client invoicing
Create and maintain waterfall of invoicing
Review and submit monthly client accruals
Consolidate accruals with other entities
Review client business development opportunities
Review project costs compared to contracted amounts
Set up and tracking of new employees
Forecast future subcontractor costs
Review coding expense reports
allocate & review intercompany transactions
Assist with ad hoc projects
Assist with P&L budget line items
Review and reconcile supporting documents for audit
Assist in development and implementation of new policies
Advise junior staff on best practices
Assist with monthly close activities
How You'll Work.

Work with project managers; Facilitate project scope changes with other finance teams; Build credibility with external and internal stakeholders; Assist other team members
