Must Have
High school education or equivalent experience, Trade school in mechanics, refrigeration etc., at least five years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization, working technical knowledge of general building maintenance, current license as an Operating Engineer, ability to operate computer equipment, knowledge of blue prints, wiring diagrams and hydraulics, Ability to read and speak and write English
What You'll Do.
Assist the Director of Engineering in all aspects of hotel and building maintenance
respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient
courteous and professional manner
and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff
Ensure proper execution of work order/request system
Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders
Implement preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain logs on movement of stock items and tools
monitor distribution of items
Ensure that meter readings are taken daily on heat
light and review information to evaluate consumption
Actively support the Safety Committee
Support the energy conservation program
Assist with maintenance of all fire fighting equipment
ensure that emergency procedures are understood and practiced by hotel staff

liaise effectively with the Director of Purchasing; Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors; Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors
