What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in incident response (CERT/SOC/CSIRT - Manager, Technical Lead, or Forensics Analyst), Knowledge of the cyber kill chain, Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Hands-on expertise with network forensics, Hands-on expertise with malware identification, Hands-on expertise with malware eradication, Ability to analyze data from cyber defense tools, Solid understanding of Windows/Linux environments (2-3 years Administration/DEVOps), Solid understanding of networking concepts/protocols, Solid understanding of networking architecture, Solid understanding of system hardening, Solid understanding of application hardening, Clear written and verbal English communication, Ability to mentor junior analysts, Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Nice to Have
Usage of tools such as Splunk, Usage of tools such as Python, Usage of tools such as PowerShell, Usage of DB query language / tools, Usage of tools used in offensive security, Usage of tools used in defensive security
