Job Description: **Senior Care Assistant - Fixed Term Contract** **Location:** Crossley House Care Home, 885 Thornton Road, Fairweather Green, Bradford BD8 0HH **Contract:** 12 Months Fixed Term Contract – Full Time **Hours:** 38.5 hours per week – covering shifts between 7.30am to 7.30pm **Shifts:** Week One – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Week Two – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. **Salary:** £12.90 to £14.51 per hour depending on experience **CQC rating:** Good **Carehome.co.uk rating:** 9.8 / 10 Crossley House warmly welcomes anyone in need of residential care, including those living with dementia, Huntington’s or Parkinson’s. Located close to the village of Thornton, the home boasts excellent accommodation and facilities including pleasant and spacious interiors, private gardens, a hairdressing and beauty salon plus a shop and excellent social areas with a residents bar and dining bistros. All bedrooms come with en-suite facilities and premier rooms are also available for those looking for a larger living space. Meal times are an important part of the day at Crossley. Residents can enjoy delicious home-cooked food with the company of others in the pleasant dining room or in private. Every month, there are themed meals for a bit of extra fun. The home plans plenty of favourites into the menus, but also talks to each resident on arrival about likes and dislikes, and any special dietary needs. All dietary preferences and requirements are discussed regularly. Out of hours snacks and refreshments are also available from the Bupa night bite menu. Activity areas support personal interests and a healthy daily lifestyle, while carers are available throughout the day and night.
