Must Have
University degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related, 8–12 years of engineering experience in automation, control systems, industrial communication systems, renewable energy projects, power systems, or related industries, Proven experience with Power Plant Controllers (PPC), Proven experience with Hybrid Power Plant Controllers (HPPC), Proven experience with SCADA systems, Proven experience with PLCs, Proven experience with RTUs, Proven experience with industrial communication networks, Proven experience with renewable energy asset integration, Excellent understanding of grid codes, Excellent understanding of TSO requirements, Excellent understanding of DSO requirements, Excellent understanding of ancillary services, Excellent understanding of control system architectures, Excellent understanding of communication protocols, Excellent understanding of automation system testing and commissioning requirements, Technical expertise in industrial communication protocols, Technical expertise in automation technologies, Knowledge of automation system design, Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements, Knowledge of testing, Knowledge of commissioning, Knowledge of troubleshooting, Knowledge of operational support activities, Strategic and results-oriented mindset, Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and operational priorities simultaneously, Excellent English communication skills

The role is required to support the increasing complexity of renewable energy projects, including Wind Power Plants, Solar PV Plants, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Hybrid Power Plants, electrical substations and future technologies such as hydrogen and Power-to-X facilities. The Senior C&I Automation Engineer will act as the portfolio-level technical authority for automation and control systems, providing technical leadership, governance, engineering assurance and operational support throughout the entire asset lifecycle, including development, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, optimization and life-extension activities.
