What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience, 5+ years of software development experience, track record of owning end-to-end technical projects, cross-org coordination, Hands-on coding expertise in one or more modern programming languages, Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, backend or API development, Proven ability to contribute directly to external integrations, prototype in partner environments, understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2 / OpenID Connect, modern SDK patterns, Effective communicator, experience presenting complex technical and business ideas to both internal leadership and external stakeholders
Nice to Have
Deep understanding of the AdTech ecosystem, how Reddit’s platform aligns with industry trends and standards, Contributions to developer experience through tooling, documentation, or ecosystem standards, Track record of influencing product roadmaps, getting involved in release, launch and product adoption activities in collaboration with sales, product, and engineering, Ads Industry experience, Ads Partnerships experience
