**Our Why** Datacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people’s lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow. **About the Role (your why)** As the Senor Business Development Manager, you’ll represent Datacom to a broad range of customers, both Government and Corporate, promoting a range if IT service offerings and developing new business opportunities for Datacom. Key to your success is your ability to be innovative and creative in ensuring targets are met or exceeded by selling Datacom service offerings across managed services, cybersecurity, cloud and digital platforms and applications. Your strong knowledge of the Perth unique market and your proven experience working with government agencies and corporate customers will ensure you’re a high achiever in this role. Your success will also be ensured by your proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and vendors. This role is based in Perth. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! **What you’ll bring** We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with at least 8+ years’ sales experience working within the Perth market. You will be a self-motivated, driven, and a results-orientated team player with a successful track record in sales. Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: * Solid understanding of the Perth IT market with a substantial network at the C-level within government and corporate customers * Understanding of the managed services, cybersecurity, cloud and digital platforms and applications market with the technical nous to pick up new offerings and services * Proven ability to manage long sales cycles including RFP responses, working with Datacom’s pre-s
