What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Extensive experience (typically 8–10+ years) as a Senior Business Analyst within Asset Services / Financial Services, Transfer Agency / Unit Registry, Fund Administration / Fund Accounting, Custody, Superannuation, or Pension Funds, Proven experience delivering strategic, transformational initiatives, including operating model change, platform migrations, or M&A/transition programs, understanding of investment products such as managed funds, superannuation, and related asset servicing workflows, Expertise in requirements elicitation, solution design, stakeholder facilitation, and enterprise‑level analysis, Demonstrated ability to assess the business impact of technology change at an enterprise scale, Experience operating across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models, Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
What You'll Do.
Lead end‑to‑end business analysis across complex
multi‑stream transformational initiatives within Asset Services
Analyse current‑state processes and data flows to identify risks
and improvement opportunities
Support enterprise change programs
including operating model transformation
platform modernisation
and mergers and acquisitions
Translate business strategy into clear problem statements
and delivery roadmaps
Conduct impact assessments
and benefits analysis to inform decision‑making
Develop high‑quality artefacts including business cases
and strategic recommendations
Identify opportunities for innovation
process simplification
and technology enablement within Asset Services
and document business
and data requirements aligned to regulatory
and client servicing needs
Produce clear and consumable artefacts such as requirements
and acceptance criteria
Identify and evaluate solution options in partnership with architects
and stakeholders to determine optimal outcomes
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture
business capabilities
and long‑term strategy
Design future‑state operating models and process optimisations
including test scenario definition
and defect management
Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders
and pragmatic recommendations
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with executives
Effectively manage senior stakeholder relationships across internal functions
and third‑party providers
Support client engagements
including discovery workshops
solution presentations
and new business opportunities
Partner with delivery
and operational teams to support initiative prioritisation
Support or lead discovery phases in line with defined delivery frameworks and governance standards
Provide ongoing support through implementation
and transition to BAU
Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis standards
and methodologies across the organisation
