The ideal candidate will report remotely, based in the Kansas City area. **What You 'll Be Doing:** * Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately. * May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project. * Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project. * Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results. * Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders. **What Qualifications You 'll Bring:** * 8 years or more of related work experience (DOT bridge engineering and design) * BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required * MS in Structural Engineering is desirable but not required * PE licensure required * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation or AutoCAD * Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software _**Security Clearance Requirement:**_ None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
