### **Job Description** ## **Overview** In Canada, our Bridge department has offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and Québec City. AtkinsRéalis also has a large international presence with over 700 bridges professionals globally, and involvement in some of the most complex structures in the world. The Bridges Department – Western Region, is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Bridges) for our team in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, Major Bridges & West Region, the Senior Bridge Engineer will be responsible for leading bridges and structural engineering projects. This will include the development, analysis, design, evaluation, inspection, and execution of various projects. ## **Your role** * Lead a structural design team for a variety of multi-disciplinary projects. * Applying advanced engineering techniques and tools for solution of complex engineering challenges. * Directing, coaching, supporting and guiding employees (engineers and technicians) assigned to projects. * Advise management and collaborate with other disciplines. * Preparation of proposals and participation in business development including publications and conferences. * Preparing structural designs and evaluations, and contract packages for ATEC, City of Calgary and other key Clients, including current policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and manuals. * Provide construction support and perform site visits as needed on active construction projects. ## **About you** * Degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with a Structural major). Registered as Professional Engineer (P.
