Must Have

Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID) accreditation and good standing, postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience, organizational and administrative skills to deal with numerous activities in a fast-paced brokerage, with varying degrees of priority, management and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and coach support staff, ability to meet the needs of staff in a highly competitive environment where staff and client mobility is high, ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients, problem solving skills sufficient to resolve numerous issues and conflicts, fluent in French and English

overseeing and managing day to day branch operations and administration

maintenance of office equipment and supplies

coordination of office functions and events

identifying opportunities for increased efficiency

monitoring and controlling branch budget and expenses to ensure profitability

reviewing and processing accounts payable for Branch Manager approval

monitoring branch summary of revenue and expenses

assisting Branch Manager to perform Investment Advisor duties such as taking buy/sell orders of T-Bills

writing up trade tickets ensuring accuracy of all particulars pertaining to a trade

coordinating and notifying brokers of new stock and bond issues

cease trades and halt trading

ensuring customer service standards and operational procedures are communicated and maintained by liaising among many departments within Wood Gundy

As the Senior Branch Administrator, you will be accountable for effectively managing all administrative aspects of Wood Gundy branch operations.
