Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in a fast-paced environment. Prepare and process payroll, including government remittances, T4s, Records of Employment, and related compliance filings. Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliation of GL accounts such as cash, bank, AR, AP, accrued liabilities, and intercompany accounts. Maintain and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and other key financial records across client portfolios. Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and collaborate with supervisors or engagement leads to resolve issues effectively. Provide support and mentorship to junior bookkeeping team members while ensuring quality and consistency of deliverables. Liaise directly with clients to provide guidance, resolve administrative matters, and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Monitor budgets, work-in-progress, and identify potential out-of-scope or value-added service opportunities. Requirements: 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a client-facing or multi-client environment. Certificate or diploma in accounting, business administration, or a related field (asset). Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting. Experience preparing payroll, T4s, ROEs, and managing government remittances. Proficiency with cloud accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, or Dext (certifications are an asset). Familiarity with desktop accounting tools such as QuickBooks Desktop or Sage 50 is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
