**Looking for Philippines-based candidates** **Job Role:** Senior Bookkeeper **Compensation range:** $1,800 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly **Engagement type:** Independent Contractor Agreement **Work Schedule:** This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time. **Who We Are:** At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. **Who The Client** Is: The company is an Australian-based financial services firm that provides personalized bookkeeping, accounting, and administrative solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. They offer a range of services designed to help business owners manage their finances and streamline their operations; Bookkeeping & Accounting, **Role Overview:** Preparation of client accounts; * Day to day data entry of client transactions and preparation of required workpapers and statutory returns under the supervision of the team leader * Transaction processing (bookkeeping), payroll, BAS/IAS, superannuation, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable **Key Responsibilities: ** * Accurately reconcile all transactions daily/weekly/monthly in Xero for multiple entities * Processing invoices in Dext * Preparation of payroll for multiple entities on a weekly basis including Superannuation * Preparation of monthly or quarterly Business Activity Statements and monthly IAS * Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and submission of returns for clients by the deadline * Reconciles general ledger accounts with external records (eg ATO integrated client account, super and payroll tax) * Able to competently prepare a fully reconciled Trial Balance * Able to competently prepare
