Masters in statistics or biostatistics with 5 years of experience, Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics with 3 years of experience, Bachelors Degree with 5+ years related work experience, Masters Degree with 3+ years of related work experience, Able to write/describe statistical models of moderate complexity, Extensive experience with SAS
Nice to Have
Experience with R, Experience with Winbugs, Experience with JMP, Experience with NCSS PASS, Experience with other statistical software, Knowledge of Bayesian methods, Knowledge of adaptive design methods, Knowledge of data mining, Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device Clinical Research role
What You'll Do.
Provide statistical input into clinical study design
Provide statistical input into endpoints
Provide statistical input into hypotheses tests
Provide statistical input into sample size calculations
Write statistical sections of protocols
Write statistical analysis plans
Provide input into data collection forms
Provide input into data management plan
Provide input on study processes
Write or provide input into DMC charter
Write or provide input into CEC charter
Ensure scientific integrity of clinical trials
Ensure data quality of clinical trials
Participate in DMC meetings
Prepare statistical reports
Prepare statistical sections of clinical study reports
Interpret statistical results
Generate line listings for regulatory reporting
Perform validation of statistical analyses
Ensures accuracy of report text
Ensures consistency between summary tables
Responsible for statistical methods
Identifies and corrects flaws in interpretation
Identifies and corrects flaws in presentation
Identifies and corrects flaws in inference
Adherence to Abbott report guidelines
Provides input to development of a report strategy
Develop quality protocols
