Senior BESS Superintendent, EPC The Superintendent’s primary responsibility is to lead and oversee project teams in the field, including in-house installers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with project goals. This role supports the deployment and installation of Redwood Material’s energy products such as BESS, associated infrastructure, and solar. To effectively manage operations, the Superintendent must be present onsite daily during active work periods. This hands-on presence enables direct oversight of day-to-day team activities, timely identification of issues, and comprehensive awareness of all onsite developments. In addition, the Manager is accountable for upholding rigorous quality standards and enforcing safe work practices across all project phases. While these oversight functions are essential, the role prioritizes proactive team management and performance optimization. Responsibilities will include: Supervises assigned project work and coordinates between engineering, estimating, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, budget, and schedule. Plans work methods, materials, equipment needs, and production schedules while updating forecasts and adjusting work plans to mitigate project risks and production issues. Reviews and interprets project specifications to support job setup, construction execution, inspections, and project closeout activities in accordance with company and AHJ requirements.
