What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3 - 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience, 1-3 years of banking or customer service/sales or equivalent experience, Registration to sell investment products completed - as appropriate for the jurisdiction, Appropriate lending qualifications and designations, In-depth knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions, including solid working knowledge of financial analysis, including cash flow cycle and available cash management products/services, Experienced in managing complex personal and small business lending applications/solutions and systems, General knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies, procedures, and directives, Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies, Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics, Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smart phones, online tools, and applications, Previous experience in financial services required, Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth, Collaboration & team skills - In-depth, Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth, Influence skills - In-depth

What You'll Do.
Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
Identify customer needs and provide advice on financial solutions
Work collaboratively within the branch and through various channels
Develop and implement an annual business development plan
Support growth in new business by developing tailored solutions
Build and manage a network of internal and external referral sources
Proactively identify small business clients that are personal banking prospects
Create great customer experiences grounded in understanding needs
Engage customers to complete needs assessments
Recommend tailored solutions addressing sales and service needs
Offer clients advice and guidance on digital and self-serve options
Support customer transactions needs based on customer traffic
Engage customers to grow BMO’s business by reaching out

Escalate unresolved customer situations to managers
