What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of engineering experience, at least 5 years in DevEx, DevOps or infrastructure with a developer productivity focus, CI/CD pipeline experience, Hands-on experience with AI-assisted developer tooling, Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, managing containerized environments, cloud infrastructure via Terraform, Familiarity with SAST/SCA security scanning, understanding of observability tools, Proficiency in Python, Go, Ruby, Awareness of DORA metrics, developer experience frameworks, pragmatic build-vs-buy mindset, Excellent communication skills

experience with Ruby on Rails

Assess and evolve engineering practices
Strengthen CI/CD quality gates
Build visibility into engineering health
Explore and embed AI-powered tooling
Streamline local development
Manage and optimize containerized infrastructure
Evolve the platform toward structured tooling
Participate in on-call rotations

Team & Collaboration
Partner with Platform and product engineering teams; co-develop a prioritized QE roadmap with engineering leads; Partner with teams across engineering to embed good quality practices; earn buy-in by making the platform genuinely useful
