What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of relevant backend engineering experience building production systems, Proven experience designing and implementing complex software systems end-to-end, Understandings Database Modeling, managing complex Database Transactions, and ensuring data integrity across distributed systems, experience with API design, Deep knowledge of data modeling, normalization, query optimization, and indexing, Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Experience building REST and/or GraphQL services, proficiency in a modern backend language (Node. js preferred), Experience shipping highly reliable systems in cloud environments, Ability to operate independently while contributing to broader technical direction, Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver complex product features, An AI-forward mindset: You are an avid user of AI tools and are passionate about exploring how AI can automate workflows, enhance creativity, and increase your personal impact
