About the Role CapIntel is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our growing Data Team, where you’ll design and deliver the infrastructure that keeps our platform fast, reliable, and ready for what’s next. From robust data pipelines to scalable backend systems and API integrations, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams and lead the creation of solutions that power smarter financial systems. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using TypeScript, Node.js, Temporal.io, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. Architect storage solutions for structured and unstructured financial data, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. Identify and drive performance optimizations across existing pipelines — profiling bottlenecks, improving throughput, and reducing latency at scale. Deploy, monitor, and optimize services on AWS, applying best practices for observability, cost efficiency, and fault tolerance.
