Overview We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be based within the Eastern Time Zone (ET). We are open to experienced remote candidates based in an ET location that possess a robust background in cloud security and a strong capability in DevOps practices. This role will focus on developing secure, scalable infrastructure and automating processes to ensure high availability within our Azure environments. You will act as a bridge between security and operations, leading efforts to secure and optimize our systems while ensuring robust observability, monitoring, and proactive incident management. Responsibilities Infrastructure and Security Architecture: Design and implement secure, scalable infrastructure in Azure, integrating security best practices across the stack. Manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, including Azure Policy enforcement and VM image hardening. SRE and DevOps Practices: Partner with the infrastructure team to enhance the reliability and performance of our systems. Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and automation tools to ensure excellent system observability. Incident Response and Resilience: Lead security incident response efforts within the Azure ecosystem.
