What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4 + years hands-on experience as an AWS DevOps / Cloud Engineer, hands-on expertise with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, KMS, SSM, Practical experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for microservices or cloud-native applications, Solid hands-on experience with CloudFormation and/or Terraform in production environments, Good understanding of IAM, SSO, and AWS security best practices in multi-account environments, Proficiency in Python and/or shell scripting for automation and tooling, Experience supporting production workloads, including on-call rotation, incident handling, and RCA, Familiarity with cost optimisation, tagging strategies, and resource governance in AWS, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Nice to Have
Experience working with global stakeholders across time zones, Exposure to AWS Control Tower, Service Catalog, or Landing Zone setups, Basic experience with containers (ECS/EKS), AWS Certification (Associate or Professional)
