What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of working experience with complex PCBs, electronic and power systems, Excellent knowledge of power electronics, semiconductors and solid-state power controllers, Excellent knowledge of circuit theory and signal processing, Extensive experience in E-CAD tools (Schematic & Layout Design), preferably Altium Designer, Extensive experience in verification of complex circuitry, such as embedded systems, DCDC converter and analog frontends, Extensive experience in Matlab and Simulink, Hands-On mentality, can-do attitude, Fluent in spoken and written English
Nice to Have
Previous product ownership, Experience with Li-ion batteries, Experience in embedded software
What You'll Do.

Be the product owner of the Power System for the next iteration of Spectrum consisting Power Distribution Unit

Take on Power Distribution Unit Owner tasks including design
qualification & acceptance testing
as well as integration and return analysis
Own all interfaces of your product across its lifecycle
from design to manufacturing to verification and integration
including all technical and programmatic interfaces
Own and maintain the Power flow simulation model for the current generation of Spectrum
and evaluate integrated Power System tests at unit
Plan and conduct vehicle integration and testing for your products
both in Germany and on the launch pad
challenge and verify Power System requirements
Lead Power System failure analysis
including root cause investigations
and corrective actions

Full Job Description
Mission Brief You will be an integral part of the Avionics department, specifically the Avionics Power Systems team, responsible for the on-board energy storage systems and power distribution of the vehicle. You will take ownership of the power system for the next vehicle iteration which will include developing, integrating and testing of the new Power Distribution Unit. You will own the lifecycle of it, manage associated interfaces and ensure delivery on time, budget and scope. Interdisciplinary tasks and fast paced R&D are your daily business, and you thrive in that kind of environment. When Spectrum launches, you will be the person that ensured robust power supply of the vehicle. Your Role in Our Space Mission Be the product owner of the Power System for the next iteration of Spectrum consisting Power Distribution Unit, Batteries and Ground interfaces Develop and own the all-new high reliability Power Distribution Unit, planned for the new vehicle iteration. Take on Power Distribution Unit Owner tasks including design, qualification & acceptance testing, as well as integration and return analysis. Own all interfaces of your product across its lifecycle, from design to manufacturing to verification and integration, including all technical and programmatic interfaces.
