To learn more about CIBC, please visit [CIBC.com](https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you’ll be doing** In this individual contributor role of Sr. Audit Manager, you’ll provide leadership, insight and proactive control advice to management and stakeholders on control weaknesses, efficiencies and emerging risks to the bank by leading or participating in the planning, execution and reporting of audits within the Retail Credit Risk Management portfolios including supporting Internal Audit groups as needed. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How you’ll succeed** * **Audit execution** \- Work collaboratively to plan and execute risk-based audits, report audit results and perform continuous monitoring of management’s control environment. Champion the migration of best practices throughout CIBC and keep abreast of regulatory developments and emerging issues affecting CIBC and Internal Audit. Effectively manage multiple audits and internal projects at different stages to ensure completion within prescribed timelines including managing deficiencies by reviewing the artifacts supporting the corrective action plans and assessing whether actions remediated the risks. Communicate regularly on progress and issues. Review audit work to ensure a high level of quality and compliance with audit standards. * **Leadership** \- Provide trusted and proactive advice to the audit team
