Using your specialized expertise, you’ll conduct risk-focused audits on a variety of business processes and operations, and advise senior leadership on the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls. Working closely with the Director and Portfolio Director, you’ll manage audit engagements at every stage—from planning and execution to reporting—while promoting compliance with CIBC policies, procedures, standards, and relevant legislation. You’ll identify internal control weaknesses and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. In addition, you’ll support continuous monitoring activities and help advance internal audit practices. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.
