What You'll Achieve.

Evolving SDLCNext into a scalable, automation-first enterprise platform that improves operational efficiency, accelerates delivery, enhances reporting and data quality, and modernizes how Process & Tools operations are executed across DHMS; Aggressively reducing manual effort through workflow automation, AI-enabled tooling, and scalable operational redesign; Improving operational efficiency, ticket routing, reporting quality, workflow consistency, and delivery execution; Driving reduction of manual effort across ITSM and SDLC operations; Improving scalability, operational efficiency, and end-user experience; Ensuring SLA adherence, operational responsiveness, ticket throughput, and platform stability; Improving operational maturity and consistency; Using operational data and platform metrics to drive prioritization and continuous improvement

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Platform Delivery, ITSM Operations, or Enterprise Platform Leadership roles, Demonstrated ownership of backlog prioritization, delivery execution, operational support, and platform enhancement initiatives, Proven ability to manage competing priorities and make tradeoff decisions in complex stakeholder environments, Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing AI-enabled workflow improvements, operational automation, or Generative AI solutions within enterprise environments, Proven experience designing and implementing Jira automation solutions, workflow automation, integrations, or process transformation initiatives, experience reducing manual operational effort through scalable automation and intelligent workflow redesign, Experience leveraging Generative AI or AI-enabled tooling to improve workflow efficiency, reporting, operational decision-making, or platform operations, automation-first mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies and redesign operational workflows for scalability, Deep hands-on expertise with Jira, JSM, and Confluence including workflows, automation rules, dashboards, data models, JQL, permissions, and enterprise configuration, understanding of ITSM processes including incident, service request, change management, and operational support workflows, Experience supporting enterprise-scale Atlassian environments in complex operational settings, Demonstrated experience managing teams in operational or delivery environments, stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, Experience using operational metrics and platform performance data to drive decisions and improvements, U. S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain CAC

Nice to Have

Prior experience with DHMS, DHA, or similar federal programs is preferred but not required, Experience with Atlassian Cloud migration efforts, Atlassian, Agile, Product Ownership, or ITSM certifications, Experience integrating AI-enabled tooling into operational enterprise workflows
