Must Have
CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification, Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting, 3–4 years of experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, audit, or advisory, Experience in external audit, Interpreting and applying accounting standards, Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs, Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience working with public sector clients, Experience working with for-purpose clients, Experience working with major infrastructure clients
What You'll Do.
Prepare technical accounting advice on AASB
Apply complex accounting standards
Support clients through transactions
Contribute to technical capability development
Develop accounting position papers
Develop accounting and financial models
Prepare technical assessments
Prepare financial reporting assessments
Support clients in financial statement preparation
Support clients in impact assessments
Support clients in implementation roadmaps
Assess climate and sustainability reporting requirements
Identify data needs for disclosures
Prepare disclosures for climate reporting
Advise on transitional arrangements
Develop governance and reporting frameworks
Support finance optimisation engagements
Assist in preparation of accounting structuring advice
Provide due diligence support
Conduct balance sheet optimisation analysis
Assist in delivery of technical accounting engagements
Ensure high-quality outputs
Ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with integrated teams
Provide holistic solutions
Engage on multiple concurrent workstreams
Assist in preparation of accounting advice
trusted relationships with clients
Present technical findings
Mentor junior team members
Foster high-performing team culture
Participate in technical training
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing
