**Job Title: Senior Associate – Functional QA / Software Testing** **Role Overview** We are looking for a detail-oriented **Senior Associate – Functional QA** with 3–5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **manual/functional testing** , excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile delivery environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and translate them into detailed **test scenarios and test cases** * Perform **functional, integration, system, and regression testing** to ensure application quality * Execute test cases, log defects, and track them through resolution using standard defect management tools * Participate in **test planning, estimation, and execution activities** across releases * Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues * Support **User Acceptance Testing (UAT)** and production validation activities * Ensure adherence to **SDLC and Agile processes** , including sprint ceremonies and reporting * Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test results aligned to project standards **Required Skills & Experience** * **3 to 5 years** of experience in **Functional / Manual Testing** * Strong knowledge of **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)** and **SDLC methodologies** * Hands-on experience in: * Test case design and execution * Defect management and reporting * Test data preparation and validation * Good understanding of **Agile/Scrum methodologies** * Exposure to testing tools such as **JIRA, ALM, or similar tools** (based on typical internal practices) * Basic understanding of: * **SQL / Database testing** * API testing concepts (preferred but not mandatory) **Core Competencies** * Strong **analytical thinking and problem-solving skills** * Attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases * Good **communication and col
