What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2 to 5 years of experience in major audit firms with banking clients, Solid knowledge of financial statements and consolidated financial statements of banks and financial intermediaries, Good command of Italian accounting principles and IAS/IFRS relevant to the banking sector, In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards and specifically IAS 32 and IFRS 9, Fluent spoken and written English, Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite, Availability for travel and business trips in Italy and abroad
What You'll Do.
Support clients through accounting due diligence activities
analyzing financial statements and accounting documentation of the target company
Manage the preparation of comfort letters on financial data
preparation of analyst presentations
drafting of special purpose financial statements (pro forma
Lead the resolution of complex technical accounting issues
measuring the impacts of the introduction of new accounting principles
offering assistance in the transition to new IAS/IFRS principles
Contribute to the execution of structured finance operations and the design of complex financial instruments
to identify balance sheet impacts and ensure correct treatment
Manage accounting advisory projects with a particular focus on IFRS 9
Develop unique and challenging projects for multinational companies and large corporate groups
interacting directly with their top management
