**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a... **In this role, you will:** * Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors * Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs * Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements * Lead or participate on large cross group projects * Mentor less experienced staff * Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals * Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area **Required Qualifications:** * 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** * 6+ years of overall experience in Data * Understanding of the US Home Lending product lifecycle, both Origination and Servicing * Proficient with SQL * Strong command using SAS for data gathering and analyses * Experience in Regulatory Reporting and knowledge of submission cycles and compliance standards to be maintained. * Detail oriented documentation skills. * Consultative skills: have the ability to rationalize business need and solution design from people not knowing how to ask precisely for what they need. * Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and inter-personal skills. * Ability to perform analysis, build hypothesis, draw conclusions and communicate clear, actionable recommendation to business leaders & partners. * Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management. * Prior experience working with risk, regulatory, or legal projects in Home Lendi
