Must Have
Master’s degree (MSc) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Separation Science or a related field, combined with at least 6 years of practical experience in analytical chemistry and separation techniques within organic chemistry, PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Separation Science or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of practical experience in analytical chemistry and separation techniques within organic chemistry, Hands-on experience with UPLC/LC-MS, theoretical and practical understanding of chromatography, Fluent English, both written and spoken, currently living and working in the EU
Nice to Have
Experience with preparative chromatography, SFC and chiral separations, An EU passport

Use your expertise in analytical chemistry and separation science to help drive the discovery of new molecules - from hands-on laboratory work to shaping the workflows that accelerate projects towards clinical development. **Intro** Within our Medicinal Chemistry department, we are looking for a Senior Analytical Chemist / Separation Scientist who enjoys combining hands-on laboratory work with leadership and continuous process improvement. In this role, you will guide a small team while helping to refine and optimize analytical and purification workflows. Working closely with chemists, analytical scientists and colleagues across the wider AstraZeneca network, you will play an important role improving the efficiency of our synthesis laboratories and advancing promising new molecules towards clinical development. Acerta Pharma is fully integrated within the AstraZeneca group and is dedicated to the discovery and development of novel therapies for haematological malignancies. **Senior Analytical Chemist / Separation Scientist Pivot Park Oss | Amsterdam UMC campus Fulltime ** Acerta Pharma will be relocating to Amsterdam, with the current move planned for early 2027. Until that time, you will be working from our facilities in Oss.
