The open position is for the Classification team wherein any Customer/Supplier part or finished good requiring cross border movement will need to be classified to determine duties and taxes for customs. **What a typical day looks like:** * Responsible for classifying and validating Flex commodities, software, and technology (with Harmonized Tariff System Numbers (HTS) & Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN)) * Obtaining Engineering /Product data with interaction from concerned Product Engineers/Program managers and manage such data bases for subsequent classification requests * Analyze/ interpret data for Classification based on technical information & drawings * Expected to work independently with some assistance from Team leads. * Responsible for ensuring legal compliance within government rules and regulations pertaining to classification * Ability to research discrepancies and provide substantiation to support classification claims to Customs in a timely manner * Work on various tools/systems- IndeXe and multi-regional regulatory systems. * **Trade Compliance - HTS & ECCN Classification, FTA, Tariff regulations, Knowledge on Export Controls, RP Screening** **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * 1 - 2 yea
