**_Your Opportunity as a Senior Analyst, Logistics_** **Location:** New Orleans, LA - Silo **Work Arrangements:** 100% on-site * Willingness to work off hours and flex to business needs * Ability to travel ~4 times per year **Reports to:** Logistics Manager **In this Role You Will:** * Responsible for Leading Receiving & Shipping Green Coffee Throughout the New Orleans Supply Chain * Analyze & Prioritize the Green Coffee Transportation from the Wharves, Railroad, and Warehouses to Deliver to Silo * Lead the Process of Intaking Green Coffee at Local Warehouses and Various Yard Locations * Owner for Key Inbound Logistics Systems and Accountable for Their Results. Identify Root Cause & Countermeasures for Any Gaps in Results * Track KPI’s to Monitor the Performance of 3rd Party Service Companies, Drayage Carriers, and Warehouses and Intervene as Necessary to Ensure Green Coffee Availability for Blending Needs * Manage WMS System for Local Drayage Carriers to Deliver Green Coffee Within the New Orleans Supply Chain * Ability to Independently Perform the Customs Role and Troubleshoot Issues as they arise * Development & Implement Cost Reduction and Work Process Improvement Projects Using Operations Excellence Tools and Systems * Improve and Standardize Systems to Deliver Strong Customer Service Results That Meet or Exceed Business Targets (Supplier 14‑Day Claim, Demurrage/Detention, and Damage Claim) * Own and Manage the Damage Claim Process for FOB Green Coffee Purchases.
