Associate’s degree, Four years of experience in data extraction and validation, statistical analysis, reporting writing, making presentations, experience with software, i. e. Power BI, Power Query, DAX formulas, or SQL database management platforms like SSMS or pgAdmin and/or other statistical software (not including spreadsheet packages), experience with database software, i. e. SAS, Access, SQL, Paradox, dBase and/or other database software, Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, experience with database technologies, Knowledge of statistics, research methodology, Ability to conduct data needs assessment, gather specifications, quantitative data analysis, qualitative data analysis

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or social sciences, experience preferably in a higher education setting

What You'll Do.

assist in data validation

building and maintaining data dictionaries and glossaries

Develops and maintains certification and reconciliation procedures for the purpose of managing the accuracy of data required for local

and federal reporting

Imports retrieved data into various computer-based tools

such as databases and spreadsheets

and performs advanced analysis

verifies data validity and recommends procedural changes

Performs data analysis

and related materials outlining research includes evaluating

Designs and develops electronic workflow processes to facilitate the delivery of information

Identifies and documents information access needs in conjunction with data owners to stay in compliance with privacy and security regulations

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborates with various departments to translate business requirements into data objects and develops prototypes for end-user evaluation; Participates/attends meetings and conferences with vendors and other colleges to assist in the establishment of technical procedures required to apply functional changes to the state reporting system

Communication Scope

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent presentation skills; Ability to interact and effectively communicate research methodology and findings
