## Job Description **AltaGas - Senior Analyst, Business Development** Our Midstream Business Development team is seeking a commercially minded Senior Business Development Analyst to join the team, reporting to the Sr Director, Exports Business Development. You will be joining a small and energetic team focused on originating and developing creative infrastructure solutions for our customers that integrate with our leading energy export footprint, including our Midstream value chain. We need an able contributor with financial competency, strategic thinking and broad industry knowledge of exports and the energy sector to be able to support our development initiatives as they grow from ideas to in-service. **You will:** Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of commercial managers, finance, engineers, marketers and logisticians to identify, develop and execute on AltaGas’ next wave of midstream growth opportunities. Successful Senior Analysts: * Build a strong knowledge of the AltaGas export assets. * Work with the team to build and maintain presentation materials for internal and external communications. * Establish processes within the Business Development team to streamline reporting and deliverables, helping to drive efficiency within the team. * Conduct industry research and gather, analyze, and present data and information related to industry trends, customer and competitor activity, as well as regulations and policy shifts that will drive export business opportunities. * Conceptualize supply chain logistics across marine shipping, rail and loading for NGL and bulk liquid products. * Monitor government funding opportunities and effectively communicate and incorporate these opportunities into our project models. * Demonstrate strong financial and operational acumen. * Build collaborative relationships and work with key internal and external stakeholders to advance opportunities from initial prospecting to project sanctioning, in accordance with AltaGas proce
