Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Own the end-to-end creation of 1–2 vertical mini-series at a time, including 10–15 episodic short-form narratives per series. Write scripts, develop story arcs, and craft engaging hooks, cliffhangers, and episode-level pacing for maximum audience retention. Direct, edit, and finalize episodic content using a combination of storytelling expertise and AI-assisted production tools. Collaborate with internal AI systems and tools to ensure character consistency, scene generation, and trailer production quality. Work closely with AI content creators, technical teams, and other directors to align creative output with platform goals. Iterate quickly based on performance insights, optimizing storytelling and engagement across episodes. Contribute to creative strategy discussions and help evolve new formats for vertical short-form drama. Ensure high-quality storytelling standards while adapting to fast-paced, AI-enabled production workflows. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in directing, showrunning, or producing short-form narrative video content. Strong storytelling skills, including pacing, scripting, hooks, and cliffhanger-driven narrative design. Experience with vertical video or mobile-first storytelling formats. Familiarity with AI content creation tools (e.g., Runway, Sora, Kling, Veo, Pika, or similar platforms). Strong background in video editing and narrative composition. Excellent communication skills and fluent English proficiency. Strong ownership mindset with ability to manage end-to-end creative production. Highly adaptable, fast-moving, and comfortable working in iterative, experimental environments. Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and continuous learning.
