What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Advanced University degree in mathematics, computer science or another relevant numerical/computational subject, Deep and validated AI foundations, Hands-on experience designing and shipping production-grade systems built around LLMs, Practical experience with modern agent-integration patterns, Demonstrated ability to deliver production-grade software using AI coding assistants, Excellent evaluation skills, Python, Excellent problem-solving, collaboration and communication, Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), CI/CD, and LLM observability
Nice to Have
PhD or equivalent experience desirable, Experience training, fine-tuning or distilling models, Familiarity with managed-LLM platforms, End-to-end software life cycle, Full-stack delivery experience, Interest in working on real-world enterprise problems in a research-driven pharma or life-sciences
