What They're Looking For.
Must Have
at least minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and tax laws, Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Oracle, Excel skills, fluent in English
Nice to Have
preferably in Manufacturing or MNC environments, Semiconductor industry experience
What You'll Do.
Lead and supervise daily accounting activities
including general ledger entries
accounts payable/receivable
fixed asset tracking and lease accounting.
Direct and coordinate month‑end and quarter‑end closing processes.
Monitor and enforce compliance with local tax regulations.
Oversee financial data reconciliation and record accuracy in Oracle Cloud.
and review accounting records to support internal and external audits.
Coordinate with the Company Secretary to ensure timely preparation
and submission of statutory documents.
Prepare and submit the quarterly International Investment Position (IIP) report to Bank Negara Malaysia in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
Act as the primary liaison with external service providers (e.g.
TMF) to coordinate accounting and tax workflows.
Assist the Senior Accounting Manager in developing budgets
conducting comprehensive financial analyses
and driving operational improvement initiatives.
