Must Have
Solid experience in senior-level accounting roles within multinational environments, Proven knowledge of the differences between Local GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP, Advanced experience in balance sheet substantiation and resolving discrepancies in a multi-currency environment, Deep understanding of Brazilian labor laws and their respective accounting impacts, Advanced/Fluent English is required for daily interaction with global teams and systems, Proficiency in data visualization tools (specifically Tableau)
Nice to Have
Experience navigating Oracle (ERP), Familiarity with Workday (HCM/Payroll)
What You'll Do.
Perform complex accounting activities
ensuring full compliance and reconciliation between BRGAAP (CPC)
Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations (Cash
Own the end-to-end accounting process for payroll
including the analysis of provisions
and labor-related accruals
and year-end closing activities
ensuring all deadlines are met with high accuracy
Utilize Tableau (or similar BI tools) to transform raw financial data into meaningful dashboards and reports for senior management
Support internal and external audit processes
providing necessary documentation and explaining complex accounting treatments
Identify opportunities to automate manual reconciliations and improve the efficiency of the local accounting cycle
