What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–4 years of SEC reporting experience, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA license or active CPA candidacy required, working knowledge of U. S. GAAP, working knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, experience with 10-K/10-Q preparation, experience with footnote drafting, experience with MD&A preparation, SOX 404 compliance experience
Nice to Have
Big 4 or national/regional public accounting firm experience, equivalent experience in financial reporting at a public company, familiarity with XBRL tagging, familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems, Experience with stock-based compensation accounting, Experience with equity plan administration

Monitor FASB accounting pronouncements
Monitor SEC accounting pronouncements

author technical accounting memos
